Aware about the Triple Combination?

Happy Women’s Day to all my readers .

Coming up today about some known and unknown information about fruits which helps in the Heart conditions. You all will be knowing about benefits of pomegranate and dates individually. But some new research  gives a different recipe to protect against Heart attacks.

A team of researchers at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology , led by Professor Michael Aviram of the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine and Rambam Medical Center, has discovered that the combination of Pomegranate juice and Dates along with their pits provide maximum protection against atherosclerosis (hardening of arteries / plaque formation) which can cause a heart attack or stroke. The findings were  published in A Journal of The Royal Society of Chemistry.

Natural antioxidants helps to reduce the risk of heart attack. Antioxidants of pomegranate juice helps to reduce oxidative stress while antioxidants of dates inhibit oxidation of LDL [i.e – bad cholesterol] and stimulate the removal of cholesterol from the lipid-laden arterial cells.

People at high risk for cardiovascular disease, as well as healthy individual could benefit from consuming the combination of half a glass of pomegranate juice (4 ounces), together with 3 dates. Ideally the pits should be ground up into a paste and eaten as well, but even without pits, the combination is better than either fruit alone.

Highly recommended for cardiac patients, with the above mentioned proportion.

Stay healthy ,  Stay happy.
