Healthy eating is all what we need to be healthy. Sharing new recipe which I have tried.
Broccoli – Beans Rice as the name suggest consist of broccoli and beans . For rice you can make a choice between white rice or brown rice. Brown rice is more healthier than white rice.
- 1 cup rice ( soaked in water for 10 min )
- 1 cup chopped beans
- 1 1/2 cup broccoli
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 small onion
- 2 tbsp red chilly powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 3 tbsp salt / as you require
- 1 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp shahi biryani masala
Boil beans for 10 mins in water with pinch of salt , boil broccoli for 5 mins. Cook soaked rice in pressure cooker without whistle. Now put oil in the pan and let it heat Add mustard seeds and jeera , when it starts to crackle add onion . Let it fry for 10-12 mins on slow flame . Add boiled beans in the pan & stir well. Now add dry spices turmeric red chilly and coriander powder . Cook for 5 mins . Add cooked rice to the pan and salt. Stir well. Cook until all flavour gets mixed for about 5-7 mins. At last add boiled broccoli and shahi biryani masala powder. Stir it and close the lead fro 5 mins.
Rice is ready to eat. Garnish with some broccoli florets.
